Salem: Officer Kristian Hanson saved a man from choking at the Witch's Brew about a week ago. The victim was unable to breathe, in respiratory arrest, unconscious and very close to death before Hanson was able to dislodge a piece of steak from the man's airway and buy time before EMTs arrived.Photo by Deborah Parker/Salem News Friday, November 28, 2008
