Duda, Senior Pastor at the First Church of Wenham, with Children's Friend and Family Services Champion for Children award. Over 150 people attended the Champion for Children Celebration held at Kernwood Country Club to honor Duda's contribution to children in Essex County. The annual Champion for Children award acknowledges the tremendous accomplishments of an individual in his/her professional and personal life-achievements that reflect Children's Friend and Family's core values of making a lasting difference in the improvement of lives of children and families. Richard J. Holbrook Chairman and CEO of Eastern Bank was honored with the award last year and Charlie Baker, President and CEO of Harvard Community Health Plan, was named the first recipient of the Champion for Children award.
